- - Souza was a creative force in his use of mediums. Beginning with his use of the back of his mother’s sewing desk as an early canvas in his adolescence, Souza continued to appropriate many unfamiliar vehicles through which to express himself. Newspaper clippings and glossy magazine front covers were a favourite of his and here Souza brings to life a nude on basic photographic paper.
